LODJAKOJA EXCURSION - we will explore the Barge Hall and the work and activities of the Emajõe Barge Society under the guidance of a guide. We will see historical footage of barges and learn about their role in Tartu’s history. We will see the barge building and find out how, why and for what … The excursion lasts about 45 minutes. Cost 90 euros / group (up to 40 people).
MAKE YOUR OWN BARGE- A new two-masted barge is being built at the Barge Hall, which can be watched by woodwork and boat enthusiasts. We will introduce the different uses of wood and old-fashioned techniques. In addition to barge building, we will introduce the history of Tartu city and shipping and various old-fashioned tools. In the second part of the workshop, everyone can make their own wooden boat model with traditional handicraft tools, which can be floated afterwards or then taken home. Duration about 1.5h. Cost: 140 euros / group (up to 25 people, larger groups add 5 eur / person)

FORGING AN IRON NAIL - The large and spacious complex of the Barge Center hides a real heritage - Sepp Alari Sepikoda. With the help of an instructor, you can make 6 nails in about 1 hour, which you can either take home or donate to boat building. Duration about 1h. Cost 100 euros / group (2 people can forge at a time, up to 15 can watch)
