Lodjakoda invites woodworking enthusiasts to a visitors day!
A new two-masted barge is being completed at Lodjakoda - the largest wooden ship built in Estonia after the first independence period. More than half the body is already in place! On Saturdays from 12-17 Lodjakoda is waiting for all interested parties to see the shipbuilding and try simpler woodwork themselves.
The tour introducing shipbuilding in Estonian starts at 1 and 2 PM  and in  English at 3 PM  Together, we will find out what, how and why? At the end of the excursion, we will look at a film about the history of barges and the construction of Jõmmu. Both children and adults can also craft their own model of a barge (or a couple). You can explore the exhibition or sit in a café.
Jõmmu is standing outside and its  maintenance works will begin in April. The sauna is hot and you can jump directly from steam room into Emajõgi. From 13-15 women's sauna and from 15-17 men's sauna.
Ticket is 8 euros for adults, 4-18 a 5 euros for children. Family ticket 25 euros. The ticket is also valid for the sauna.
